Few materials come as close to real leather in quality and in application as bonded leather. Chrome shavings as well as vegetable-tanned leather scraps, which we obtain from all around the world, are milled, and oil and natural latex as a binder, are added. In this way, bonded leather is almost completely produced from renewable resources. After the addition of water, the mixture is pumped to the fourdrinier machine - a production process very similar to the production of paper. Subsequent drying, calandering and finishing, and we have bonded leather - a continuous product, which can be had in a number of qualities and thicknesses. This allows for a variety of applications. |
